Second Announcement
Participation in ISSSMC-2024 is FREE for online oral speakers and poster presenters from Ukraine who by whatsoever reasons cannot go to Poland.
The ISSSMC-2024 will be held in two formats. The conference opening and the plenary sessions will be held in-person at the Conference Hall of Wojanow Castle. Other oral talks and poster presentations will be held online via Zoom platform. During the conference, you will be able to watch and listen to pre-recorded lectures or poster presentation at our conference website, as well as submit your questions for a discussion.
Instructions for preparing online presentations
Lectures and oral presentations
To ensure a successful conference, we ask you to prepare a video recording of your lecture or oral presentation in English (up to 20 or 10 minutes long, respectively). Each talk will have 25 (lecture) or 15 (oral presentation) minutes, with 20-22 or 10-12 minutes for the video presentation and 5-7 minutes for discussion. Only computer presentations in *.ppt, *.pptx, or *.odt format are accepted. Using MS PowerPoint 2010 or newer edition, record a slide show with narration and slide timings. To convert the narrated presentations to video, use “Save/export your presentation to a video file format (*.mp4 or *.wmv)” option to create video files. Users of older versions of MS PowerPoint that is not capable to generate video files directly may use screen capturing program like CamStudio or FreeCam to record their presentations and voice. To submit video presentations to Google Drive or the conference email above, please use https://wetransfer.com service. The invited lectures and a selection of the contributed papers will be published as a special issue of the Fizyka Nyzkykh Temperatur (Low Temperature Physics) journal (B. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).
