About

International School-Seminar “Spectroscopy of Molecules and Crystals” was founded by Professor Galyna Puchkovska and is held biennially starting from 1973.

The meeting is organized by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Institute of Physics of NASU and Ukrainian Physical Society.

Traditional topics of the School cover recent advances in theoretical and experimental spectroscopy of crystalline solids, nanosystems, liquid crystals and amorphous materials, liquids, gases, polymers and biological systems, surface, thin films, intermolecular interaction. Computer simulation, nonlinear optical phenomena, new spectroscopic methods and applications are considered too.

The working language of the School is English.

The conference will include invited lectures (40 min), oral (20 min) and poster presentations. The posters should not exceed 1 meter in width (portrait A0 format).

All equipment for multimedia presentations will be available on site. If you are going to use your own laptop for presentation, please be sure that it has possibility to be connect to the external screen via standard VGA cable.
